  • Why are my plants not ready yet and what should I do

Hey I’m on day 88 since switching to 12×12 I have 5 plants all growing at the same time same size no really noticeable differences they took about a week and a half to preflower but the but I don’t think there ready yet the trichome on the outside are about 70/30 cloudy to clear with no signs of any amber ones. It’s superskunk from sensi seeds not grown this strain before and this hasn’t happened on my other grows. Should I just let them keep going and let the plant tell me when it’s ready? They vegged for 2 months from seed on 18×6 I’m using a 2800w led with cob leds built in, it’s supposed to match a 1000w.

I would recommend letting the plant tell you when it’s ready. Just keep an eye on the trichomes, they should ripen up soon. Some phenotypes vary in flowering time

Yes 88 days is 12.5 weeks but the plants didn’t start showing sign of flower for 1.5 weeks so 11 weeks flowering, I think I may have stunted them as there was a light leak I didn’t notice until I checked all possible problems to see why my plants seemed to not be stretching I just put it down to bad genetics at the time but now I’m not so sure, I have some others ready to transplant so I decided to put these babies into 3 days of darkness at 50% humidity and 65°F and what I get I get could of been worse and hermied so song sticky little popcorn will have to do think there’s about 3-4 ounces just looking and comparing to previous grows. Here’s a couple of pics

It looks like some good herb from the photos. I would suggest flushing it and get ready for the harvest in the next 7 to 10 days. No reason to push it too far

Looks like some fire. Skunk is a straight Sativa right? So 12 weeks of flower should be right on point from what ive learned.

Going by the leaves its a sativa though I’m sure I was told it was indica, not really sure though what you said about 12 weeks etc. Makes sense. I still haven’t harvested. I put them in darkness for 72 hours and then put them of 13/11 light. Still fattening up and the outer most trichomes are still cloudy no clear ones now but on deeper inspection of some of the buds there’s still some clear so I reckon about a week still to go but it changes so much everyday now that I’m just taking it day by day.

Good call dude, just keep an eye on those trichomes like you are and it should be good to go soon.
