Posted by tom-4837 on January 20, 2021 at 2:10 pmhi, I run soil organic has a pH of 5.5 in soil, what would you water with for pH to get the soil to 6.7 ish. in my book cannabis bible it says that you have to water with +3 to get +1 in the soil, that may be true. so 8.5 ph to get 6.5?

<div>Just stick with a ph 6.5 in and stop over thinking your run off, in fact I would just stop checking it. Your in soil so I would trust in you microbe population to buffer you soil. PH is just a guide and only gospel if you are drastically out and getting lock out. I run coco and very rarely check run off ph. In fact it been over a couple of years since I’ve done that.</div><div>
Keep it simple at 6.5 and less over thinking. Can’t recommend recharge enough for microbes.

I’m looking for a great ph testing probe that is not to much, but is the best one that reads correctly right away an does it in any temperature of the water too! ? I bought one but it is all over the place, tested my well water 9.8 ph and I have ph down, but I have never had to use it; what’s the number of drops in a gallon of water to get it down to 6.5? Better yet what is the most you would put in a gallon of water to get it close to the goldilocks zone?
