CCurrently running t5’s for veg and 3x600w hps for flower, I’m looking for something a little more economical to run …

What would you guys recommend? I’m not super rich so I guess high end led lights are off the menu.

    Many thanks in advance

I have the 550 v2 rspec. Its a great light in a 4×4 set-up. They we’re just discontinued and replaced by the 600r. Looks to be another great light, but that would be more for a 5×5..

Do some searching and you can find some 550’s out there at a really good price..

OK.. . I’ve narrowed it down to the lumatek Zeus 600 or the hgl 550 r spec v2… anyone had experience with either of those?

If you get the lumatek make sure you get the PRO but yeah i would go for the lumatek zeus 600w pro. Check out migros review & test, its a very sold light.

I would use 2 or 3 Mars Hydro TS3000 depending on your grow size.

I just finished building my own lights. I got all the parts from rapidled.com. My total parts list came in just under $300, if I were to buy the same lights already built they would have been over $600. I just added these four Cree COBS to my blurple and I am getting great light. If you interested in a parts list, let me know, happy to send you what I put together. Here is the completed project. From my understanding these LED’s consume much less power.

I run 3 of these in a 4×4 although only full power last 3 weeks of flower, rest of time 100 W each, only run 1 from clone to early veg, then switch all 3 at 100w late veg early flower.then ramp them up. I think they are great, I’m new to led

You should check out “migro” youtube channel for the best info on lights. he is an irish lad and is as straight as you can get he does fair led light reviews and there is no bullshit. I’m currently using his array 240w sub for my 1200w phlizon.. just check him out.. trust me…👊☝️

I’m using maxisun pb2000 ( 3 of them ) in a 4×4 tent, first grow with them but plants love em, on sale they are $230 per on amazon. I added ir ( they have near ir diodes ) with $10. Ir diodes for .50c each and an arduino nano ( $3 ) with a light sensor ( $1) wrote a basic program, light sensor senses lights on and turns ir on.. light company’s rape people for single ir diodes in their lights imo. 🙂

im not sure on ur budget but the new bar style lights are rocking the efficency atm u have to keep the lights close but u have no hot spots over u hole canopy i personaly am running the optic 600h in flower and 2 optic one 54w 5000k cobs and 2 optic one xl 100w 3500k in veg i find the cobs give better penitration witch makes training easyer imo
