I just recently bought the hydro crunch 4×4 grow tent with their two 600w led grow lights. Does anyone have experience with this tent and lights? I live in a 1br apartment so the tent doesn’t hide very well but I was able to remove the closet light and run my carbon filter right in the attic. I’ve got 2 photo period plants vegging in there right now and I’m going to try some autos right next to them. Any warnings, suggestions and/or advice would be appreciated. Thanks growmies!

those lights in my opinion will not be best.. they’ll work great for veg with that purple bluish spectrum. And you may have to put those lights as close as possible. You will have to upgrade those lights… with that tent size 2 sf2000s or 1 sf4000 full spectrum white light will rock that tent or 2 marshydo 2000 or 1 marshydo 4000 full spectrum… or 2 es300v2 300w warm color lights will crush it.. more expensive tho so double the price for these…there are others but these 3 for the prices is awesome

.. Someone please correct me if I’m giving wrong or bad information

Thanks jamaal, I was def disappointed when I turned the lights on. This was definitely an impulse purchase as I’ve been put on a furlough and Home Depot had this all in one kit so I went for it. Once the world starts to straighten out a bit and I can start working again I’ll look into different lights. Any experience with auto’s and photo period plants being in the same tent?

Although those lights are blurple, don’t count them out. They are 240 watts actual draw each. I keep them around 24 inches. Any closer and they will burn your leaves. I’m not saying they are the best lights available. But you paid for them, use them. They will do the job just fine. If you upgrade, keep these in their too.
I really like my HC 4×4 tent! The fact that you can unzip 3 walls at once. Gives you great access to your plants. I have 6 x 5gal hydro buckets growing under a scrog. And my plants are super happy and healthy.
The ventilation system is nowhere near adequate for 6 plants. I shelved it and bought an 8″ fan and carbon filter. With the 8″ fan on it’s lowest setting the humidity went from mid 70% to 50%. Before my tower circulation fan would drive the humidity into the 80% range. Now it barely affects the humidity at all. Upgrading or adding newer technology lighting is a sound investment. With only two plants, humidity may be fine. If there are humidity problems. I strongy suggest updating your ventilation system.

Thanks @badbert! I did order a new stronger inline fan and a portable ac unit. The doors can’t stay open much longer to keep temp and rh down. I’ve got 6 blackberry kush autos going next to my 2 vegging AK-OG photo plants. The autos are a 70day plant and they popped Aug 1st, running 20/4 so when they’re done I’m going to flip the photos into flower right after the autos come out and want to try a scrog. There will be new lights in the future just want to get my hands on learning started and hopefully eliminate some bad habits I could start. Thanks for your advise, see y’all in the superchat on Tuesday or maybe Sunday. @rob-cltv instead of new episodes of TWD (just because you mentioned it the other day) I wait for your new episodes 🤙

This is today’s shot just after watering. Bunch of little squatters. 5 are being trained down and the middle row of 3 haven’t been touched yet
