Hello so I’m on week 6 of veg and I’m growing in 5gallon pots indoors with FFOF soil four plants total 5 days ago I had to flush my plants got ppm down to 1050 ph6.2 I was trying to figure out should I follow back on the Foxfarms feeding schedule or just us RO water with cal mag to water again and then do a feeding. My reason for flush was to high ppm which was 2500 so idk if I should skip a week of feeding or start again but only 1/4 strength any feed back would be great. This is how they look now

Dude how do you bring down the ppms? I’m having this same exact issue. There’s no info anywhere about lowering the ppms. But you can find out how to raise them 😡 😠. I just wrote a post about it. Check it out.

Would I need to invest into a RO system? I really wasn’t trying to do that, but feel I just might have to now. I was going to just run the tap water with ppms at 88-90. My ph is at about 6.5 but the run off ph is at like 5.5-5.8.

My first actual grow trying to do everything the right way. Any help from your experience thus far, or any knowledge you gained would be greatly appreciated.

How often should I feed them Water to flush? I was going to feed them just water 2 maybe 3x a day. But I don’t want to over kill with the flush.

    Thanks and good luck 🍀

Hey man sorry I’m so late to reply so I’m using RO system at first I was using my tap water and the ppm from the tap was 300 off the back so I decided to go with RO now I’m starting At like 14 ppm big difference that really made a difference for me bc chlorine isn’t really beneficial for your plants but just my opinion. What I do if I feel my Ppms are to high or notice any nut lock out or tip burn just flush the plant with plain RO water till your ppm is down to 800-900 or you can go lower but also when using organic ppms aren’t really a issue from what I’ve learn that organic ppm are high sometimes. But just put you plants in your bath tub and just run water thought them and keep checking run off. Also what soil medium are you using and what kinda nutrients also trying feeding using different ph between 6.3-6.8 bc the plant takes up different nuts at different ph levels this is what my baby’s look like now week 2 of flower doing really good but best thing to do don’t freak out if you ever run into issue just flush and wait for soil to dry and slowly start feeding again also good foiler Sprays really help. Lots of research and just taking everything you learn and make your own process you just have to get that process down and your good. My process what works for me is mix my nuts ph and I wait 6 hrs make sure ph doesn’t go up or down then I feed my 5gl smart pots 1gal of nuts wait till the next morning and I water with ph water again with 1gal to all four plants I wait till soil is dry about 3” down the water with recharger and mammoth p plain ph water wait till soil drys again. Then feed start the same process so I feed same feeding twice a week and water 2-3 times a week I didn’t water multiple times a day you want to give that soil time to dry out helps the roots really expand and keeps bugs out cannabis plants really like that wet and dry cycle

I’ve heard of lowering the ppm’s by adding more RO water to the nutrient rich feed, but to lower it on clean water idk 🤷🏻‍♂️
