    Hi growmies

After my first failed attempt of rdwc the second is going really well. Pythium is a thing of the past but unfortunately the death of the plants was entirely my fault. I added too my H2O2 trying to get rid of it and burnt the root system. Plant went crispy dry within days.

Second grow with banana kush is going well. I’m into the 3-4week of flower. The water temp is around 19c and stable. All pipes and tanks have been wrapped with insulation material. The air pumps have increased to 2small ones (original ones) and 2 large ones. I’m running a small EBay RO system which works really well. I’ve not had to dose with anything for Pythium.

Going through Veg was interesting how easy it was compared to the last grow. Going into early flower still same again. I’m expecting it to have a bit of a swing in ph if I add a pk booster but nothing I can’t handle

Thank you so much for all your advice everyone

Just my two bobs worth…but I would clean off some of those larger fan leaves to allow light to tour lower branches, but looks healthy 👌

Thanks. The only fan leaves I left were the ones wide that are shading nothing with anyway. I did the trim using my camera over the top so I could get as much light to bud sites. The girls were a little nitrogen toxic as I couldn’t get home for a little bit to change the water to full flower mix. They have bounced back heaps better since though.

If ur not already id implement something to keep ur system running clean like uc roots, hydroguard things of this nature will help a lot, I also just started running a uv filter

I’m using great white and stuff I don’t want to kill off. Even in hydroponic they love it. I just have to reinoculate every water change for best results.
